And The Work Continues...

Well hello my little flooble warriors. I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. I thought I would take a second this morning and give a congratulation to Mouse and Adam on the Peapod Parasite. I am also excited that I will be getting more Ram for my PC today. I may now be able to turn on my computer and use it within the first hour of work in the mornings. So in honor of these great things I have a new topic. Today's writing assignment will be, "What do you want for X-Mas this year?" Ha...yep that's right, I get to ask on the Blog so that I have a chance of discovering what all of you people want before the 24th. Well that's it for this morning's edition of "As The Cube Turns."

Yeah for the Holidays...

Well it is that time again folks. It is time for everyone to get together and nap, I mean visit. I am very excited to once again eat way too much, watch some sports, eat some more and nap as much as possible. It has always been a great time of year for me to relax and recharge so to speak. I have a great group of folks that always seem to make my stress shrink and bring a smile back to my face. So in honor or those holiday cheer bringers today's topic will be, "Who makes your holiday special?" Oh and yes after battling thru the weekend I will be in today to check up on your progress. : )

Off To The Races------->

Okay folks today will be short and sweet. I am going to be out of the office for most of today and tomorrow. I am working on a new project at work which will have me working around the clock as we try to complete 2 months worth of work in about 1. I have been designated as the main point of contact for all answers and solutions during this time and I will be handling any work that can be done remotely. This is going to leave very little time to blog. So your assignments will be to flooble about the funniest holiday story and tell me what new movie you would like to see and why? Okay Flooble warriors get to work. I will check on your progress as soon as I teach all of my teams to, "work like a bunch of little Ben's" according to the owner.

And the Winner Is...

I have noticed something recently that I never realized before. I have in the past found that in some work places, the employees will bet on certain sports events or other such things. However since I have joined the ranks of the cube workers, it has become apparent that this is a massive understatement. The amount of betting, pools, and other such vices in the office are staggering. There is a pool or wager on almost every event that Yahoo or Google can display. Since I have not been a big gambler in the past it amazes me to the amount of people involved. I am curious to know what everyone else thinks about this. Is there a casino where you work? If so are you an active participant?

Holiday Goodness.

Today’s topic is,”What are you going to do for the holidays?” I of course have no idea as to what my plans will be past tomorrow, so I have decided to get the options laid out in public this year. I will also pose the question, “What is your favorite holiday dessert?” Okay faithful flooble warriors do your stuff.

I'll Let You Pick...

From the overwhelming response the cheeseburger question I think I need to rapidly change the subject. Today’s topic is going to be, “when it comes to mashed potatoes, white or brown gravy and why?” I will take white gravy with Chicken Fried steaks and brown with most everything else.

The Cube World...

Well folks today’s topic is one I am still learning about. That’s right I want to talk to you about that mysterious place known as the cubicle. I am discovering many interesting facts about my new domain. The relationships that develop with the other employees around you, the perceptions of others that do not spend their day in the office, the ways tasks are confronted, and many other differences that have eluded me for so many years. During my time as a mobile employee, I would visit these little worlds on a daily basis, but I was only that “a visitor”. I never got to see how people would interact on a daily basis when sharing this enclosed place for most of the day. So far I am really enjoying getting to know everyone and being able to interact with others through out the day. I am sure that there are both good and bad points to this situation, as in any environment. Right now I think I will just be thankful and see where I can fit in.

Show me something...

Well it's nice to see you are all out and about still. So is everyone ready for your new discussion assignment? Today's topic is going to be hmmm ah I know, fishing. That’s right folks I want to know when was the last time you went fishing? Who were you with? Did you catch anything or just look silly by the lake? And just like last time I'll start us off.

The last time I went fishing was many moons ago when I was living in San Angelo, TX. My roommate at the time had constructed a pond which had a patio and train caboose on one side which we would head out to during the weekend. We would usually catch something, but always toss them right back in to the little pond. It was a pretty good time and made a pretty neat memory too. Alright who is next?

No your not seeing things its back to back blogs. So today's topic boys and girls is food. I am looking for your response to that age old question. What's for dinner? I am curious to see what everyone calls a meal. What is you favorite dish or just what did you get from Taco Bell. I'll start with Lemon chicken, Chicken Parmesan, and Lasagna. Mmm Mmm Good. Okay who's next?
